Imperfect, old – and beautiful.. 

This Turkish nomad rug is 50-60 years old and the wool is handspun and hand dyed 

in plant colors - and the rug is handwoven.

 

Nomad rugs were - and still are - made for private use and not for sale. 

They show signs and traces of the persons who made it: the dyeing was made by hand 

and adds the vibrant and varied color shades of the rug, and also the irregularities

of the weaving and stitching.

    Keep up the spirit of lightness and summer indoor with a handwoven and 

    unique Moroccan rug. This rug is made by the Berber women in the Atlas 

    Mountains and the rug is made from untreatened off white wool with a woven
